Miss AfriCanada 2012 A Night Of Hope A Night Of Change

"A Night for change, A night for Congo" was an event organized by Miss AfriCanada 2012 Christine Kitoko to raise awareness about gender-based violence in eastern Congo, and to raise funds for Panzi Hopsital in Bukavu. Both goals were accomplished with success on this night. The Miss AfriCanada Organization is very proud of what Christine accomplished and how she educated many on about the violence in Eastern Congo. The event was a huge success and as Christine's first event towards accomplishing her platform she has definitely started off very strong. Look out for more events in the coming year as we continue to "Break The Silence" about gender-based violence in Eastern Congo.
